About the Book

“Celebrating Men” is a book about belief and faith in men, not because they always deserve it, but because it’s God’s will. The book is written from a female’s point of view, using experiences and lessons learned from those experiences, from childhood to adulthood; experiences then sifted through the Word of God and redeemed by the Holy Spirit.

In the book, there are a variety of stages of life and relationships explored and a recurring theme and question throughout as to whether in some stages men are being predators, protectors or just confused as to their role. There’s an appeal, a call, a challenge and encouragement for more men, especially African American men, to stand, to lead and to understand their God-given position, privilege and responsibilities.

Though the book addresses, applauds and encourages men, both young and mature, it also sends subtle messages to women of all ages appealing to them for understanding, grace and change as well. How would this world change if more men understood their role and more women celebrated them just for being men?!
